Part 1 · Interview
Tests: Giving personal information clearly with basic accuracy.
- Give a full short answer, not just one word (add a reason or example).
- Use present simple confidently for facts about yourself.
- Ask the examiner to repeat politely if you don't understand — that's normal and fine.
Part 2 · Picture Discussion
Tests: Describing, interacting with a partner, giving simple opinions and preferences.
- Describe what you can see using simple present continuous ('there is/are', 'people are...').
- Really listen and respond to your partner — agree, disagree politely, ask their opinion back.
- Use simple opinion phrases: I think..., I like... because..., What about you?
