How to attack each paper

   For a long text with several questions, the best order is:

   Answer from memory.Read text twice, then questions.Read questions → skim text → read the part around each answer.

   In a gapped-text task, the words just before and after the gap tell you:

   The correct spelling.Nothing useful.Which sentence links logically.

   Before the listening starts, you should use the pause to:

   Write full sentences.Read the questions and underline key words.Relax.

   You have two minutes left in the reading paper and three blanks. You should:

   Put your best guess in each one.Re-read the first text.Leave them blank.
