my/your/his/her/its/our/their + noun. I've got / she's got + noun. Question: Have you got…?
- 1Possessive adjectives (my, your, his, her, its, our, their) go before a noun to show who owns something or who someone is related to: This is my sister.
- 2We often use have got to talk about family, appearance and possessions: I've got two brothers.
- 3She's got long hair.
- 4Questions and short answers use have: Have you got a pet? — Yes, I have.
- 5The negative is haven't got: He hasn't got a car.
My mother's name is Ana. Her job is a teacher.
I've got one brother and one sister.
Has your brother got a dog? — Yes, he has.
We haven't got much time before the train.
